We would like to invite you to participate in our Anniversary University Ball. It will take place on 28th of January in Hala Wystaw Kapelusz in Park in Chorzów (The ‘Hat’ Exhibition Hall). Ball is organized especifically for students, alumni, employees and University friends.

On the 28th of January 2012, the Erasmus Student Network of our University will host a Goodbye party for our International Students. It is the winter semester edition of ERASMUS Awards night & Goodbye Party which will be hold in the student's club Kwadraty. 

Between 9-26 January we have hosted 19 students from University of Applied Sciences bfi Vienna from Austria and Anglo-American University in Praque from Czech Republic. They are students of Master Program Quantitative Asset and Risk Management (ARIMA).

Mr. Jacques Delors is the honorary doctorate award laureate - the Senate of the University of Economics in Katowice  passed the resolution on 24th November 2011. The award ceremony will be held in the first quarter of 2012 in Paris, France.

On 11 January 2012 took place the University Day on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the University. Thank you for the participation in the celebration of the University Day. Here you can find the gallery.
