University of Economics Alumni Association was founded in 1958 and is made up by the University graduates and people who obtained a PhD/doctor habilitatus degree at the University of Economics in Katowice.

The Alumni Association objectives are connected with strengthening the graduates’ position, activities in the area of research and education and popularizing the University's and its graduates' academic achievements.  The cultural activities comprise maintaining the bonds between the graduates and the University, as well as charity.
