Both Katowice airport and Kraków airport are located approximately 30-45 minutes from Katowice city center by car. In the last few years the airports have attracted numerous flight operators, including budget airlines offering connections with most European cities. 
A public bus line runs between Katowice city centre and Pyrzowice International Airport according to the schedule. In Katowice the first stop is at the Bus Station next to the Main Railway Station, then the bus stops at the QUBUS hotel and the next stop is at the NOVOTEL hotel, both in the very centre of the city and not far from the University. At Pyrzowice Airport the bus stops in front of the main entrance.
Tickets can be bought from the driver on boarding the bus for the price of PLN20 (around 5 euros).
Alternatively, AIR FRANCE passengers may use transportation services provided by AWOS – on their website you can make a reservation for your trip and make a secure payment with your credit card.

You can also fly to Warsaw or Wrocław and then take a train to Katowice.
