On the basis of bilateral agreements Polish government grants scholarships to trainees and students. The grant holders are exempt from fees for their studies in Poland. The number of grants per year is regulated by the agreements between the countries. Each year the Minister of Science and Higher Education appoints the grantees through the programme administrator – the Bureau for Academic Recognition and Student Exchange. The amount of the scholarship is established each year by the Minister. This year it amounts to PLN900 (around EUR235) per month. It is supposed to cover the accommodation (dormitory) and subsistence costs.

Those who are interested in obtaining the grant should contact the Polish diplomatic or consular posts in their countries.
